  • Albert Ho arrested by national security police

National security police on Tuesday arrested lawyer and former legislator Albert Ho on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Sources say Ho is accused of interfering with a witness while on bail.

At around 11am, he was led away in handcuffs by officers in Tin Hau.

In September 2021, Ho was charged with inciting subversion, along with fellow leaders of the now-disbanded Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements in China Lee Cheuk-yan and Chow Hang-tung, along with the group itself.

Ho was held in custody until August last year when the High Court granted him bail.
