Baptist University said on Thursday one of its nursing students has tested preliminary positive for Covid-19.

In a statement, the university said the student attended classes at its main Kowloon Tong campus from Monday to Wednesday. The classrooms and venues she was at will be thoroughly disinfected.

The school also said some classes will be conducted online as a precautionary measure.

The student is enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) Programme at the university's School of Continuing Education.
