  • By-election feature: Hong Kong Island

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to turn out to cast their ballots on Sunday in by-elections in New Territories East, Kowloon West, Hong Kong Island and the architectural functional constituency for the Legislative Council.

The by-elections are being held to fill the positions vacate by six pro-democracy lawmakers who were disqualified over the way they took their oaths of office in 2016.

RTHK's Janice Wong looks at how the race is shaping up on Hong Kong Island, where four candidates are competing for one seat.
