CHP Reports Three New Cases On Measles

The government's Centre for Health Protection has reported three more cases of measles, taking the total number of those who have contracted the disease to 65.
The first case involves a 24-year-old worker at the airport, the centre of the current outbreak. He had been vaccinated and had travelled to Japan during the incubation period. He attended accident and emergency at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on April 3 and has since been discharged.
The second involves a 2-year-old girl, who developed fever on March 29 and a rash on April 6. She has no travel history and is stable. She had reportedly been vaccinated.
The third involves a 31-year-old man who had travelled to Taiwan. He sought treatment at Hong Kong Baptist Hospital on April 3 and since been discharged. He had been vaccinated.
