An overturned crane lorry on the Kwun Tong-bound direction of Lung Cheung Road on Tuesday morning forced the closure of all eastbound lanes of the key artery for hours during the morning rush before they were reopened at around 10am.
Reports say the lorry was involved in a single-vehicle accident at around 5am on a flyover by Choi Hung Estate, when the driver lost control and rammed into the kerb, leaving the vehicle lying on its side.
The driver is said to have suffered only minor injuries, and crawled out of the vehicle without assistance.
