The last store standing in Kwun Tong's Yue Man Square – a decades-old fruit juice shop – is being evicted on Tuesday to make way for a major redevelopment project undertaken by the Urban Renewal Authority.

The elderly owner of the shop, surnamed Cheung, told RTHK that she's been holding the fort since her husband's passing, and insists on staying put till the very last minute.

“Many customers have been coming here regularly since they were small. They said no matter where I go, they’ll come. But I won’t open a new shop. They know that as well. They’ll miss my shop but there’s no choice," she said.

She spoke to RTHK's Vanessa Cheng.
