Man Dies In Car Accident Near Sha Tau Kok

Police are investigating an accident in Sha Tau Kok this morning in which a 37-year-old man died.
A private car driven by the man was travelling along Bride’s Pool Road towards Tai Po. As it was approaching Kai Kuk Shue Ha, it reportedly switched into the opposite lane and crashed into an electric box and iron pole, and caught fire.
Fire fighters put out the fire and recovered the body.
A 49-year-old male passenger sustained chest injuries and is now in hospital.
