Pilots for Taiwan's China Airlines are calling off a strike that has forced the cancellation of scores of flights, including many to and from Hong Kong.
The strike started last Friday and has hit travellers at one of the busiest times of the year.
The pilots' union said it had reached an agreement with management over its complaints about working conditions, particularly on overnight flights.
The two sides said they were working on legal documents to firm up their agreements and would make further announcements soon.
