The tally in Macau's latest coronavirus outbreak rose to 149 on Friday, as the gambling hub continued a mass testing exercise.
Officials warned that those who failed to comply with the testing order before midnight would see their "health code" turn yellow, meaning they would not be allowed to enter public premises, use public transport, or leave the SAR.
Such people will also be sent by police to designated spots to undergo Covid testing, officials said.
The authorities have placed more than 5,300 people under medical observation due to their links with confirmed Covid patients.
