Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang, has brought in a number of social distancing measures after a new local Covid-19 case was reported in the city, Xinhua reported.

The new rules cover cinemas, bars, theatres, indoor playgrounds, gyms, training agencies offering offline courses, and other businesses that operate in relatively confined spaces.

Scenic spots have also been asked to limit the number of tourists to 50 percent of the capacity and to stop performances.

According to local health authorities, the new Covid-19 infection was reported on Tuesday.
