Historic Resolution Adopted At Communist Party Plenum

A landmark resolution on the major achievements and historical experience of the Communist Party over the past 100 years has been passed at the sixth plenary session of the party's Central Committee.
According to Xinhua News Agency, a communique of the plenum said the resolution was reviewed and adopted at the four-day session that ended on Thursday.
Xinhua also said President Xi Jinping, who's also general secretary of the party's Central Committee, made an important speech at the plenary session.
He also delivered a work report on behalf of the Political Bureau of the party's Central Committee.
On Hong Kong, the party said it's fully behind One Country, Two Systems and the policy of having patriots governing the SAR, helping to end chaos and restore order here.
A resolution was also passed on convening the next party congress in the second half of 2022 that's expected to approve Xi's third term in office.
