Liu Xia, the wife of the late Nobel Peace laureate Liu Xiaobo, says she'll wait until next month to see whether she has a chance to leave the mainland. She's been under house arrest in Beijing for years, even after the death of her husband last July.
In a phone recording released by their friend, exiled writer Liao Yiwu, Liu also said that there should be another clause on the constitution - that whoever loves her husband should be jailed for life.
Liao, meanwhile, said mainland police had told Liu Xia that she'll surely be released a year after the death of the Nobel Prize winner.
