Macau Police Shoot And Injure Knife-wielding Man

A police officer in Macau shot and wounded a man allegedly wielding a knife on Sunday morning.
The force said the 31-year-old mainlander was suspected of being involved in a robbery and resisted arrest after being chased by the officer.
The man was shot in the thigh after allegedly swinging a fruit knife at the officer.
The police officer was said to have given the man repeated warnings before he was shot at around 5am in Iao Hon Park, near the border with Zhuhai.
The injured man was taken to hospital and his condition was not known.
Police said they were looking into the exact circumstances of the shooting.
