The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said on Friday it had identified 666 companies in Shanghai that it will help to resume production amid the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak in the city.
In a public notice, the regulator said it will concentrate resources to help companies in the fields of semiconductors, car-making, equipment manufacturing and medicine to resume work.
The ministry is also working to resolve logistics issues in the Yangtze River Delta area, it said. (Reuters)
