President Xi Sends New Year Greetings To All Chinese

President Xi Jinping has extended Lunar New Year greetings to all Chinese people.
According to Xinhua News Agency, Xi sent his greetings to all Chinese people, including the people of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, during a reception in Beijing.
He said order in Hong Kong had been restored, and more efforts were made to fight separatist forces and facilitate reunification.
The president also said all the achievements made by the Communist Party and the people in the past 100 years were attributed to unity and hard work.
He said China maintained its leading position in the world in terms of both economic development and Covid-19 control in 2021.
Xi noted the country's overall social stability had been well maintained, and the 14th Five-Year Plan period got off to a good start.
