Prosecution Begins For Ex-justice Chief Fu Zhenghua

Former justice minister Fu Zhenghua is being prosecuted for alleged corruption.
According to Xinhua News Agency, "a public prosecution has been initiated... over suspected bribe-taking and bending the law for personal gains" in the case against Fu.
The Changchun Municipal People's Procuratorate in Jilin Province recently filed a lawsuit with the Intermediate People's Court of Changchun.
Fu was expelled from the Communist Party in March and arrested a month later. He had also served as vice minister of public security and head of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, among other posts.
