Enterprise Joins Outreach Jab Service
Secretary for the Civil Service Patrick Nip today viewed the administration of the BioNTech vaccine to Manulife Hong Kong's staff and agents as arranged by the Government's outreach vaccination service.
About 380 employees and agents received the vaccine as Mr Nip visited the Manulife Tower in Kwun Tong.
He thanked the enterprise for joining hands with the Government in promoting the Early Vaccination for All campaign and encouraging its employees to support the vaccination programme.
Mr Nip said it is important for frontline salespeople to get vaccinated as they often have face-to-face interaction with their clients when promoting their insurance and Mandatory Provident Fund products or investment funds.
"Getting vaccinated and observing personal hygiene are the best ways for them to safeguard the health of themselves, their families, their colleagues and their clients."
Enterprises and organisations can call 3904 1490, from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, to arrange outreach vaccination services.
