FS Attends Big Data Expo In Guiyang
Financial Secretary Paul Chan today attended the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2018 in Guiyang.
The four-day expo features a series of activities including an exhibition, summits and forums, to discuss revolutionary changes in big data development.
Mr Chan attended the expo’s opening ceremony this morning. In the afternoon, he visited the demonstration centre of the Guizhou big data pilot zone and a high-tech enterprise which uses big data to develop its online medical service business.
He also met Guizhou Province Governor and Deputy Secretary of Guizhou Provincial CPC Committee Shen Yiqin, and Secretary of the Guiyang CPC Committee Zhao Deming.
They discussed exploring closer co-operation between Hong Kong and Guizhou in big data and smart city development.
