FS Welcomes SFC Report
Financial Secretary Paul Chan today welcomed the publication of the annual report of the Process Review Panel for the Securities & Futures Commission.
The panel reviewed 60 cases under different areas of the commission’s work in 2020-21.
Mr Chan said the panel conducted a comprehensive review of the commission’s internal processes and procedures of selected cases last year.
The panel has made numerous observations and recommendations which are conducive to the fair and consistent exercise of the regulatory powers by the commission, he added.
Mr Chan also thanked the panel’s chairman and members for their hard work.
