Hong Kong stocks went into the break on Wednesday slightly higher after swinging throughout the morning, with attention turning to a speech by Federal Reserve boss Jerome Powell later in the week.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.1 percent, to 26,260.

On benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.2 percent, to 2,884 and the Shenzhen Composite Index gained 0.1 percent, to 1,576. (AFP)
