James Lau To Attend Lujiazui Forum
Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury James Lau will depart for Shanghai on June 13 to attend the 10th Lujiazui Forum 2018.
He will attend its opening ceremony and speak on Hong Kong's strengths and opportunities in fintech, inclusive finance and green finance at a plenary session.
The forum is organised by the Shanghai Municipal Government, the People's Bank of China, the China Banking & Insurance Regulatory Commission and the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
It provides a high-level platform for government officials, regulators, financial leaders and scholars to discuss major financial issues and foster international financial co-operation.
Mr Lau will also meet senior officials of the municipal government and visit the Shanghai Stock Exchange and enterprises.
He will return to Hong Kong on June 15.
