Gambling revenue in Macau plunged 79.7 percent in March on the year, as casinos reeled from a lack of visitors after the world's biggest casino hub ratcheted up curbs to battle the virus outbreak.
The March figure of 5.3 billion patacas was in line with analyst expectations.
All six casino operators are bleeding between US$1.5 million and US$4 million a day to keep their properties running.
Last week, Macau banned entry to visitors from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan who have travelled overseas recently, following earlier bans on foreign visitors and non-resident workers.
Macau has so far confirmed 41 cases of Covid-19.
The latest two patients are a mother and son who returned to the SAR from London last week, via a flight to Hong Kong on March 26.
