Nicholas Yang To Visit US, Canada
Secretary for Innovation & Technology Nicholas Yang will leave Hong Kong tonight for a five-day visit to the United States and Canada to promote the city’s innovation and technology developments and foster closer ties.
While in Seattle and San Francisco, Mr Yang will meet senior executives in the technology industry, visit innovation and technology enterprises and speak at luncheons.
He will then proceed to Vancouver to meet British Columbia officials and senior executives of healthcare technology institutes, and tour a technology accelerator and incubator.
Mr Yang will return to Hong Kong on September 21. During his absence, Under Secretary for Innovation & Technology David Chung will be Acting Secretary.
