Sept Goods Exports Up 9.3%
The volume of Hong Kong's total goods exports increased 9.3% year-on-year in September, the Census & Statistics Department announced today.
The volume of goods imports for the month rose 15% over September 2020.
Prices of goods exports and imports increased 6.6% and 8% year-on-year for the month.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the volume of goods exports decreased 0.7% in the third quarter of 2021 compared with the preceding quarter, while the volume of goods imports rose 0.6%.
Comparing the first nine months of the year with the same period in 2020, the volume of total goods exports rose 22.3%, while that of goods imports increased 21.5%.
