SFC Directors Appointed
Nicky Lo and Clement Chan have been appointed as non-executive directors of the Securities & Futures Commission (SFC) for two years from April 24 and May 26 respectively.
In announcing the appointments today, Financial Secretary Paul Chan said: "Mr Lo and Mr Chan have a wealth of expertise and experience in corporate governance and financial services respectively. I am confident that they will provide invaluable contribution to the work of the SFC."
Mr Chan also thanked outgoing non-executive directors Mary Ma and Albert Au for their contribution to the SFC over the past years, adding that he looks forward to their continued support for the further development of the financial services industry in Hong Kong.
