Tech Voucher Secretariat Announced
The Innovation & Technology Commission today announced the Hong Kong Productivity Council had been commissioned to serve as the secretariat of the Technology Voucher Programme.
The commission and the council have largely completed the transition work, and programme applications will be progressively transferred to the council for processing.
The commission said that, after reviewing the operation of the Technology Voucher Programme and referring to the operational experience of other funding schemes, it had decided to commission the council to assist in the implementation of the programme, leveraging its manpower resources and abundant experience to enhance the efficiency in processing applications.
Under the Innovation & Technology Fund, the programme aims to subsidise local enterprises and organisations to use technological services and solutions to improve productivity or upgrade or transform their business processes.
Under the new arrangement, applicants can continue to submit applications through the programme’s online system.
